Here’s the recipe for Aromatic and Fragrant Matka Coffee;

 

Directions:

  • Heat the matka over medium flame until warm. 
  • Set it aside to retain its earthy aroma.
  • In a saucepan, mix milk and water. 
  • Heat gently until warm but not boiling.
  • Add coffee powder and sugar. 
  • Stir well and bring it to a light simmer.
  • Remove from heat and strain the coffee into the warm matka.
  • Let it rest for a minute to infuse the matka‘s aroma into the coffee.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa powder if desired.
