Here’s the recipe for Classic and Comforting Fish Pie;

 

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  • Simmer fish in milk with onion and bay leaves for 5 minutes. 
  • Remove fish, strain milk, and set aside.
  • Boil potatoes, mash with butter, and season.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour, and cook for 1 minute. 
  • Gradually whisk in reserved milk, add cream, mustard, and parsley. 
  • Simmer until thickened.
  • Flake fish into a baking dish, pour sauce over, and top with mashed potatoes. 
  • Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden.
