Directions

  • Grease and flour an 8 inch round pan.
  • In a bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda and salt).
  • Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together butter, white sugar and brown sugar.
  • Whisk until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs (one at a time).
  • Add vanilla essence and whisk well.
  • Add in the mixed dry ingredients alternately with milk.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the greased pan.
  • Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F).
  • Bake for 30-35 mins or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely.
  • Pour on some chocolate glaze and Enjoy.
