Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, salt, and water.
- Knead until smooth and pliable.
- Divide the dough into small balls.
- If using red bean paste, flatten each ball, add a small amount of filling, and seal it into a ball.
- Boil water in a pot.
- Add the dough balls and cook until they float, about 2–3 minutes.
- Remove and drain.
- Roll the cooked rice cakes in your chosen coating (soybean powder, sesame seeds, or coconut) mixed with sugar.
