1kg Boneless Beef or Chicken Strips (Chicken) Breast
1 tbs Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Cup Yogurt
1 Cup Raw papaya paste Can use peel
2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 tsp Cumin Powder Roasted and Crushed
1 tsp Black Cumin Powder
2 tbsp Coriander Powder Roasted
1 Black Cardamom Crushed
1 Green Cardamom Crushed
1 tsp Turmeric Powder Powder
2 tbs Salt
½ tsp Garam masala Powder
1 ½ cup Onion Fried
1 tsp Ghee\Oil To grease pan
¼ Cup Vinegar
1tsp Paprika
2 Bay Leaves Powder
2/3 Julienne cutting Green Chillies For Garnishing
Chopped Fresh Coriander For Garnishing

Spicy and Smokey Bihari Tikka Boti

This finger-lickingly delicious soft, tender and smokey Bihari Tikka Boti is from the Bihari community of India and Pakistan.

Here’s the recipe for these finger-lickingly delicious Bihari Tikka Boti;


  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl except oil, green chillies and coriander.

  • Marinate overnight.

  • Line a pan with aluminum foil.

  • Grease the foil with oil.

  • Put marinated mixture in a greased pan.

  • Bake in a preheated oven (160 degrees Celsius) for approx. 90 minutes.

  • OR

  • If you have a BBQ grill at home, thread the meat on the skewers and cook on very low heat until they are done.

  • Serve hot with garlic naan or tandoori roti.
