Here’s the recipe for Crispy and Creamy Quiche Lorraine;

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the pie crust in a 9-inch tart pan, pressing it firmly against the sides.
  • Trim any excess dough. Prick the bottom with a fork and bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Set aside to cool.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crisp.
  • Drain on paper towels and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, nutmeg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Stir in the cooked bacon and shredded Gruyère cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the pre-baked crust.
  • Place the quiche in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Allow the quiche to cool slightly before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
