Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 
  • Cook the macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package directions until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir in the drained tuna, cooked macaroni, and peas (if using) until everything is well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. 
  • In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the top of the casserole.
