Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). 
  • Grease an 8-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk milk, eggs, and melted butter.
  • Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients. 
  • Fold in corn, chilies, and cheese.
