Directions:

  • Put water and sushi rice in a deep pan and cook. 
  • In the meantime make a mixture of rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  • When rice is cooked and warm, mix it with the above mixture, then let it cool to room temperature.
  • Place a nori sheet on the bamboo sushi mat. 
  • Spread a thin layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
  • Arrange strips of fish, vegetables, and cream cheese along the center of the rice.
  • Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, sealing the edge with water.
  • Slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife.
  • Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger on the side.
