Directions:
- In a pot, bring the stock to a boil over medium heat.
- Add the beef and cook until tender, seasoning with soy sauce and garlic.
- Stir in the rice cakes and cook until they soften and float to the surface (3-5 minutes).
- Slowly drizzle in the beaten egg, stirring gently.
- Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste.
