Directions:
- In a blender, combine soaked bread crumbs, coconut milk, and ground peanuts and cashews.
- Blend until smooth and set aside.
- In a large pot, heat the palm oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger, sautéing until fragrant and golden brown.
- Add the chopped red and green bell peppers, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the soaked dried shrimp and fresh shrimp, cooking until the shrimp turns pink.
- Pour the blended mixture into the pot, stirring continuously.
- Add paprika, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the stew thickens to a creamy consistency.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot, traditionally accompanied by white rice and a side of farofa (toasted cassava flour).
