Directions:

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. 
  • Add the sliced meat and cook until browned. 
  • Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant. 
  • Add the crushed tomatoes, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. 
  • Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Arrange the pita pieces on a serving platter. 
  • Place the cooked meat over the pita. 
  • Pour the tomato sauce over the meat and pita.
  • Top with a generous spoonful of yogurt and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
