For Pasta:
2 Chicken Breast boneless
5-6 tsp Cajun Seasoning
4 tbsp Butter or oil
2 Capsicum sliced
2 Carrots sliced
1 Onion sliced
2-3 Cloves Garlic chopped
1 lb Pasta
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Heavy Cream
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese grated
1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese grated

Here’s a unique recipe for Cajun Chicken Pasta to create this delicious meal at home;

 

Directions:

  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tbsp of butter/oil.
  • Sear the chicken breasts for 5-7 mins on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and allow it to rest.
  • Put 2 tbsp butter/oil in the same skillet.
  • Saute chopped garlic then add heavy cream and both grated cheese.
  • Add veggies and remaining cajun seasoning.
  • Simmer for 1-2 mins or until the sauce thickens. (add water gradually to adjust the consistency of the sauce if required)
  • Stir and toss cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated.
  • Slice the chicken breasts and serve on top of hot, creamy pasta.
  • Sprinkle on some Italian seasoning or thyme if required.
