Directions:
For Garlic Sauce:
- Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until creamy.
- Pulse in a little bit of ice water for easy emulsion.
For Shawarma:
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Add the sliced meat and Mix well.
- Marinate overnight or at least 1 hour.
- Preheat a grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Thread the meat onto skewers.
- Grill for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Warm up or toast the pita bread.
Assembling:
- Assemble sliced meat in a toasted pita.
- Add Pickled cucumber and beetroots accordingly.
- Add tomatoes, onions, and parsley.
