1 tbsp Black peppercorns
1 tsp Cloves
7 Green Cardamom
1 tbsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
¼ tsp Nutmeg Powder
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 tbsp Ginger minced
1 tbsp Garlic minced)
Salt acc. to taste
2 tbsp Lemon juice
2 Sprigs Rosemary for garnishing

Directions

  • Grind peppercorns, cloves, and cardamom to a fine powder.
  • Set aside.
  • Dry roast coriander, cumin, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix together roasted spices, sour cream, ginger, garlic, salt, rosemary, lemon juice, and oil.
  • Add lamb chops to the mixture and coat well.
  • Marinate overnight.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry lamb chops until golden brown (abt 6-7 mins on each side).
  • In the same pan, pour the leftover marinate.
  • Add some water.
  • Cover and let simmer until the sauce thickens and the meat tenders.
  • Garnish with rosemary and lemon slices.
  • Enjoy!
