Description
A variant yet deliciously appetizing form of samosas. These delightful little appetizers are filled with soft and mushy Moong Daal (Yellow Lentils) along with chopped herbs, onions, and a dash of spices and are then fried or baked until crisp.
These delicious Moong Daal Samosas are best to be served as an appetizer or an evening snack.
Here’s the recipe for these delicious Moong Daal Samosas;
Directions:
- Boil lentils (daal) with 3-4 tbsp of water.
- Add red pepper flakes, salt, and cumin to the daal while boiling.
- Boil lentils (daal) until 1/2 done. (approx. 5-6 mins)
- Let it cool.
- Add chopped onions, green chilies, and coriander.
- Mix well.
- Using samosa sheets, make triangle-shaped pockets.
- Fill it with prepared lentil (daal) mixture.
- Seal it properly with flour paste.
- Deep fry on medium-low flame until golden and crisp.
