Directions:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. 
  • Gradually add the warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes or until smooth and elastic. 
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, and cover it with a damp cloth. 
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). 
  • Punch down the dough and roll it out into a circle or rectangle, depending on your preference.
  • Transfer the dough to a pizza pan or baking sheet.
