Directions:

  • Heat the oil in a large karahi or wok over medium heat. 
  • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add the onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes until aromatic.
  • Add the camel meat and cook until it changes color and is browned on all sides.
  • Add tomatoes, green chilies, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. 
  • Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil separates from the masala.
  • Cover and simmer on low heat until the meat is tender, stirring occasionally. 
  • Add a little water if needed to prevent sticking.
  • Once the meat is tender and the sauce thickens, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and lemon wedges.
  • Serve hot with naan or rice.
