- Heat oil in a pan.
- Fry chicken cubes on high flame until color changes.
- Remove from oil and set aside.
- Add onions in the same pan.
- Fry until lightly golden.
- Add ginger garlic paste.
- Saute for a minute.
- Add tomato puree, salt, red chili powder, and turmeric powder.
- Mix well and let simmer for 2-3 mins.
- Add yogurt and cook until the water dries off and the oil separates.
- Add 1/2 cup water.
- Let simmer for 5-7 mins.
- Add coconut and chicken to the gravy.
- Adjust the consistency of the gravy accordingly.
- Add cumin, green chilies, and cream.
- Let simmer for 2-3 mins.
- Sprinkle some fresh coriander.
- Serve with naan or boiled rice.
