Description
Palak Paneer, one of the most popular Indian veg cuisine is basically cottage cheese cooked in deliciously smooth n creamy textured pureed spinach gravy seasoned with garlic and spices. This incredibly flavorful and toothsome Palak Paneer serves as an excellent side dish during a feast or even as a main course during a meal.
Here’s the recipe for this incredibly delicious and flavorful Palak Paneer;
Method
- Heat ghee\oil in a pan.
- Fry Paneer until golden brown.
- Remove from oil.
- Set aside.
- In the same pan add onions.
- Fry until light brown.
- Add ginger and garlic.
- Sauté for 2 mins.
- Add salt, chili powder, cumin, coriander, and turmeric powder.
- Add water if required.
- Sauté for 2-3 mins.
- Add Spinach.
- Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 mins.
- Add cream and let cook until the water dries off.
- Add fried paneer (cottage cheese).
- Cover and let simmer for 5-7 mins.
- Serve hot with Naan.
