450 gms Paneer (Cottage Cheese) Cut into Cubes
½ Cup Cream
1 Onions Finely Chopped
1 small piece Ginger Finely Chopped
4 Cloves Garlic Crushed
1 tsp. Cumin Powder
½ tsp. Coriander Powder
1/4 tsp. Turmeric Powder
1 tsp. Red Chili Powder
2 tbsp. Ghee\Oil
2 tsp. Salt (or acc. to taste)

Palak Paneer, one of the most popular Indian veg cuisine is basically cottage cheese cooked in deliciously smooth n creamy textured pureed spinach gravy seasoned with garlic and spices. This incredibly flavorful and toothsome Palak Paneer serves as an excellent side dish during a feast or even as a main course during a meal.

Here’s the recipe for this incredibly delicious and flavorful Palak Paneer;

 

Method

  • Heat ghee\oil in a pan.
  • Fry Paneer until golden brown.
  • Remove from oil.
  • Set aside.
  • In the same pan add onions.
  • Fry until light brown.
  • Add ginger and garlic.
  • Sauté for 2 mins.
  • Add salt, chili powder, cumin, coriander, and turmeric powder.
  • Add water if required.
  • Sauté for 2-3 mins.
  • Add Spinach.
  • Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 mins.
  • Add cream and let cook until the water dries off.
  • Add fried paneer (cottage cheese).
  • Cover and let simmer for 5-7 mins.
  • Serve hot with Naan.
