Directions
- In a bowl, marinate steak pieces with papaya paste for at least 4 hours.
- Add onion, yogurt, ginger/garlic, mustard oil, turmeric powder, whole spice powder, red chilies, roasted cumin, grams, and salt.
- Let sit for 1 hour.
- Put them on skewers and BBQ OR
- Cook in a greased pan on the stove OR bake in the oven.
- Heat a coal piece to red hot.
- With the help of tongs, transfer coal to a pan containing Bihari
- Boti.
- Drizzle a few drops of oil on the coal piece.
- Cover and let it smoke for 2-3 mins.
- Remove the coal and plate the Bihari Boti.
- Garnish with sliced lemon, coriander leaves, green chilies, and sliced onion.
- Serve delicious Bihari Boti with roti, salad, raita, and tamarind/mint chutney.
