Directions
- Soak saffron in milk for 5 mins.
- Blend ginger, garlic, onions, poppy seeds, and dry coconut to a fine paste.
- Mix in curd with the garam masala, coriander, cumin, turmeric, salt, chili powder, and almonds.
- Make deep cuts all over the leg and coat the curd mixture into it.
- Marinate for 2-4 hours.
- Place in a large pan and pour the ghee on top.
- Bake in the oven for 3-4 hrs or until mutton is tender.
- Transfer to a serving dish.
- Sprinkle saffron on top and garnish with sliced nuts.
